Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Youniverse LLC (“Youniverse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using my-youniverse.com, the Youniverse mobile application, or any related services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Youniverse.

What Youniverse Does

Youniverse is designed to help users maintain and strengthen existing personal relationships by organizing relationship information, tracking connection patterns, noticing potential drift, and supporting intentional outreach or scheduling.

Youniverse is not a social network, dating service, emergency communication service, or professional counseling service.

Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement to use Youniverse. Youniverse is not intended for children under 13.

Your Account

Certain Youniverse features may require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the security of your account credentials, and for activity that occurs through your account.

You may not impersonate another person, create an account using false information for deceptive purposes, or attempt to access another user’s account without authorization.

Your Content and Relationship Information

You retain ownership of information and content you provide to Youniverse.

You grant Youniverse the limited rights necessary to process, store, display, transmit, and otherwise use that information solely as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

You are responsible for the information you choose to enter into Youniverse and for using the service in a lawful and respectful manner.

Contacts, Calendar, and Device Permissions

Some features may request access to contacts, calendars, notifications, or other device capabilities. These permissions are optional unless a particular feature requires them.

You control these permissions through your device settings. If you disable a required permission, some Youniverse features may no longer function.

Scheduling and Availability Features

Youniverse may offer tools that help users identify potential times to connect based on calendar availability or other information users choose to share.

Suggested times are provided for convenience only. Youniverse does not guarantee that another person will be available, that a meeting will occur, or that calendar information will always be complete or accurate.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Youniverse. You may not:

• Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Youniverse systems, accounts, data, or infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the service.
• Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or exploit the service except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
• Use Youniverse to harass, threaten, stalk, or harm another person.
• Upload or distribute malicious code or other harmful material.

Intellectual Property

Youniverse, including its software, visual design, branding, logos, graphics, interfaces, and other original content, is owned by Youniverse LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of any Youniverse intellectual property.

Third-Party Services

Youniverse may rely on or integrate with third-party services, platforms, operating systems, hosting providers, calendars, email systems, analytics providers, or other technologies.

We are not responsible for the availability, security, content, or practices of third-party services that are outside our control.

Changes to the Service

Youniverse is an evolving product. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also impose reasonable limits on certain features or services.

Availability and No Guarantees

Youniverse is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose.

Relationship Outcomes

Youniverse provides tools intended to support intentional connection, but relationships depend on many factors outside our control.

We do not guarantee improved relationships, responses from other people, successful scheduling, or any particular social, emotional, or personal outcome.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Youniverse LLC and its members, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Youniverse.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to Youniverse will not exceed the amount you paid to Youniverse during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you have not paid Youniverse.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Youniverse LLC and its affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights.

Termination

You may stop using Youniverse at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or address a material violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Youniverse evolves. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Youniverse after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those updated Terms.
